We are looking for Head of Corporate Banking Division with appx 50 FTE staff

Location: Moscow city center

Principal responsibilities


·         Oversee the formulation and implementation of the corporate banking division strategy.

·         Develop the marketing and sales strategies of the corporate banking division with a focus on growing the business volumes, customer base and income

·         Spearhead the development of products and services for the corporate banking division

·         Manage and maintain existing customer relationships as well as develop new relationships

·         Maximize customers’ satisfaction by effectively managing, developing and retaining a quality portfolio of major relationships in Corporate Banking

·         Formulate and implement intensive relationship management strategy to maintain and deepen customer loyalty

·         Identify business leads and exploring opportunities from existing customers

·         Proactively manage a complex portfolio of clients, organizing a team of trusted advisors to lead strategic dialogues with clients at a portfolio level through the understanding of specific business requirements and delivering creative and flexible customer solutions

·         Close liaison with colleagues from other lines of business, business segments, products and hat suit and fulfill customers' needs

·         Complete quality credit assessments and adhere to internal controls and regulatory requirements

·         Proactively manage the risk management framework for the division

·         Liaise with Asset Management to ensure a good deposit mix so as to achieve maximum yields on the fund

·         Develop and implement a focused efficient and effective customer service frameworks which will increase the flow of business from existing customers and generate business from new customers

·         Interface and establish close working relationships with other financial institutions and development banks in the country to develop partnerships

·         Organize, manage and motivate the available human capital within the corporate banking division through the establishment of suitable organization structure and implementing development programmes to optimize competence and productivity



·         University graduate with considerable commercial banking experience with exposure in commercial lending and trade finance

·         At least 10 years’ post qualification experience in corporate marketing of which at least 7must have been in the banking sector

·         Relevant experience in Russian market and medium to large corporates

·         Demonstrable strong strategic orientation

·         Good track record of excellent customer relationship management

·         Experience in product development and portfolio management for clientele; strong interpersonal, relationship development, influencing and negotiation skills

·         Solid knowledge of particular industry segments, trade services, payment and cash management, global market and capital finance products

·         Being customer oriented with strong business focus, interpersonal and communication skills; superior business management and negotiation skills

·         Being dynamic with strong analytical capability to structure credit facilities and financial solutions

·         Self-motivated, flexible, mature and articulate in speech and presentation

·         Excellent analytical skills, problem identification and solving skills

·         Strategic leadership skills with demonstrated ability to drive a team to execute and deliver business objectives

·         Networking skills, tact and diplomacy

·         Excellent command of spoken and written English
